Pegler invests in two new premises

Pegler Yorkshire Group has announced it plans to invest in excess of £20 million in its operation within the county.
The firm, which makes fittings, taps and valves, is looking to modernise its factories in Doncaster and Leeds in a bid to secure more clients in the Middle East.
"With two centuries of shared history to draw on in Yorkshire, the new business, following the amalgamation by Aalberts Industries at the start of 2009, has a firm foundation from which to build," Ian Howarth, financial director at Pegler Yorkshire Group.
He adds that the move will mean that the coming year will involve a lot of "hard work, commitment, co-ordination and planning" to ensure the project runs to both time and budget.
It was recently announced that a fitting training project was to be launched in Honiton, offering people the chance to learn the tricks of the trade using fittings from Pegler Yorkshire.
