Kevin Parkin, managing director of Sheffield heavy engineer DavyMarkham, discusses the firm's future following its acquisition by Hindustan Dorr Oliver, a subsidiary of the $1bn turnover Indian group IVRCL Infrastructure and Projects. The 180-year-old firm is involved in designing and fabricating equipment and components on a large scale. It already works with the oil and gas industry and is now targeting new nuclear build.
